Tuesday is already being called the most historic night in Cleveland’s sports history.
But is the rest of the world as excited as we are?
These days much of the focus seems to be centered on the Cubs’ curse and not Cleveland’s, as the city continues to struggle with certain negative stereotypes.
Need we mention the recently doctored photo that TBS shared of a burning river?
“We’re kind of in an uphill battle,” fan Jason Mayer said. “But people don’t know everything that’s cool about this city.”
As LeBron James recently put it, “It’s always us against the world.”
But fans say the Indians’ place in the World Series can change that.
“The Cavs did it, the Tribe can do it, and then maybe the Browns can, you know, follow suit,” said Susan Proseck, who grew up in Cleveland.
