CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Cavaliers are planning a whole night of free fun for fans at the 2014 Cavaliers' Draft Party starting at 6 p.m. June 26 at Quicken Loans Arena.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for an evening of fun for the entire family. There will be live music from local band Skinny Moo, and a Fan Zone of interactive games and activity booths on the arena floor.
Also there will be the delicious deal of $1 hot dogs and $1 sodas and other concession stand options. And, of course, the Cavalier Girls, Scream Team, and mascots Moondog and Sir C.C. will be there to meet and greet with fans.
The NBA draft coverage starts at 7 p.m. with a team of broadcasters from Fox Sports Ohio live at the Q to provide in-depth draft analysis and perspective.
WTAM will be broadcasting live from the floor of The Q.
ESPN's TV broadcast of the 2014 NBA Draft starts at 7:30 p.m. and everyone in the arena will be able to watch it on the video board and see who the Cavs select with the #1 pick in the first round and the #33 pick in the second round.
Free tickets to the Cavaliers' Draft Party are available now at the Quicken Loans Arena Box Office, any Northeast Ohio Discount Drug Mart location, or online at cavs.com using the convenience of Flash Seats.
And fans who claim tickets in advance via Flash Seats and attend the draft party will also receive two free tickets (per Flash Seats account) for a 2014-15 Cavs pre-season game.
Tickets will be delivered to the fan's corresponding Flash Seats account upon the release of the 2014-15 Cavs pre-season schedule at a later date this summer.
The Cavaliers' Team Shop will have deals for fans attending the draft party, including current roster adult and youth Swingman jerseys for 50 percent off.
The party doesn't have to stop once the picks are in and analyzed.
There will be a Cavs Draft Party "After Party" at the Horseshoe Casino for fans 21 and over.
