JIMMY'S TAKE | Don't worry, no team in the East can beat the Cavs in a series

Jimmy's Take: No one can beat Cavs in the East

As the Cavs wind down the end of the regular season, fans are concerned.

The Wine and Gold appeared to take ten steps forward last week in Boston after throttling the Celtics. But then they took 20 steps back with two head-scratching losses to the Atlanta Hawks. That includes Sunday's ridiculous defeat that saw the Cavs blow a 26-point lead and give up 44 points in the final quarter.

Just for good measure, the Cavs suffered an overtime loss to the Heat on Monday as they played without LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Tristan Thompson. Yes, they blew another double digit lead.

Now suddenly, the Cavaliers are no longer the top seed in the Eastern Conference. They trail Boston by a game with just one more to play.

Yet, the voice of reason himself, our own Jimmy Donovan, says not to worry.

In Monday's Jimmy's Take, our WKYC Channel 3 Sports Director again states his belief that the Cavs will shift to another gear once the playoffs begin, and no one in the East will be able to handle the defending NBA Champions in a 7 game series.
