CLEVELAND - Kevin Love had quite a week and the league has noticed.
On Monday, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced Love has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 21-27. It's the third time Love has received the honor during his career.
Love's week was highlighted a 34-point first quarter against the Portland Trailblazers Wednesday night. It was his highest scoring game as a Cavalier as he finished the night with 40 points, eight boards and three assists.
Love shot .553 from the field last week and .655 from beyond the arc. He was 21-for-21 from the free throw line.
