Cleveland: Shaq 'tweet' is great for Tremont

CLEVELAND -- Ever since Cav's new superstar Shaquille O'Neal talked about Lago Restaurant in Tremont, business has been way up.

"Lago is the best restaurant in Cleveland," said Shaq, after dinner the other night. "Wow, the lasagna is off da chain," the message continued.

"You can't believe the impact that Shaq has had on our business," said Lago owner Fabio Salerno. "We had more than 100 people calling for reservations just because of Shaq's recommendation. It is great!"

The new center for the Cleveland Cavaliers already has a huge following on Twitter.

More than 2 million people follow the "tweets" from Shaq every day. So, when the superstar says that the lasagna is incredible, word spreads very quickly.

Tammy Brown, media relations manager for Positively Cleveland, was beaming with pride when she heard the news. "This is incredible, not just for Lago, but for all of Tremont and the rest of Cleveland," said Brown.

Brown added, "This is exactly the kind of national exposure that Cleveland's excellent restaurants deserve. You can't put a price tag on a rave review by Shaq on a social medium like Twitter. It's a wow moment!"

Salerna said that Shaq was totally relaxed and gracious with everyone in the restaurant. "He was just so cool and so sweet," said Salerno.

Salerno added, "Shaq just drove up by himself and walked in our front door. We knew he was coming but it was hard not to be excited. Now we can't wait for him to come back for more of our fantastic lasagna."
