Tailgating banned at Super Bowl

It's a game-day tradition in every NFL city. But at the NFL's biggest game in February, tailgating is not welcome.

That's right, the committee for the Super Bowl says tailgating parties will be banned at the game on February 2.

Fans will still be allowed to eat and have a beverage or two while in the lot. But they have to either be in their vehicle or right next to it.

The committee says the grills and the lawn chairs and other tailgating equipment will have to stay home.
