BEACHWOOD -- "Lux in Tenebris" began filming this weekend -- April 26-27 -- in the Greater Cleveland area with several local Northeast Ohio actors, as well as Oscar and Golden Globe Nominee Eric Roberts.

The film will be directed by B. R. Tatalovic, award winning Serbian-American film artist and professor of Media at Cuyahoga Community College. It will be produced by Clevelander Alexandra Russo.

Russo was born and raised in Cleveland and earned her B.A from Ursuline College in May, 2013.

Roberts is known for his roles in movies like "The Pope of Greenwich Village" and "The Dark Knight."

The film will be shot in the historic neighborhoods in and around Cleveland well into July.

So, who's running the show?

Cleveland based Belgrade & Cleveland Media Group, LLC are filming the independent, feature-length film, scheduled for release in 2015.

"Lux in Tenebris" is an urban spiritual-social drama about two sisters whose lives are affected by personal tragedies, but their mutual love and an unbreakable bond guides them in the "darkness", until the very end.

The film will be directed by B. R. Tatalovic, award winning Serbian-American film artist and Professor of Media at Cuyahoga Community College. Lux in Tenebris is also produced by Clevelander Alexandra Russo.
