He's a Scout leader who has a voice that soars, but is it enough to get him onto the big stage?
Thirty-five-year-old Rob Boehm is always prepared.
CASTING CALL:'The Voice' is coming to Cleveland
This Scout leader guides his cubs through camping and life lessons, but his dream is to sing.
"I want my kids to grow up knowing that I tried to accomplish my dreams, that they can go after their dreams, and if they don't make it, it's OK," he said. "There's always something there for them to do."
The husband and father of three works in sales and has a DJ karaoke business on the side.

He was a voice major in college but left before getting his degree.
"So I came out, and I never went back. And to me that's kind of one of those things where I left it hanging," he said.

But he won't let this audition opportunity pass him by. He has not only the voice, but also the confidence to go with it.
"God's given me a gift, and I need to use that," he said. "The chance to use it to be able to chase my own dream and also provide for my family would be awesome. And I could see myself winning the whole thing."
