The book also includes a series of urban hikes that encourages readers to take public transportation to respective trailheads. Ohio City, downtown, Tremont and Little Italy are just a selection of urban hikes that take readers through the streets of Cleveland.

"Cleveland does not necessarily have a reputation for walkable neighborhoods and great hikes," says Baur, who admits he grew up relatively ignorant of Northeast Ohio's outdoor opportunities.
