UNIONVILLE -- A local group is fighting to save the oldest surviving Tavern in Ohio.

The building called the Old Tavern is located in Unionville, in Lake County. It has been closed to the public since 2006 and the building has fallen into disrepair.

Now the Unionville Tavern Preservation Society is hoping to preserve and protect the building and its history.
