CHARDON, Ohio -- A judge has released court files on the 17-year-old suspect inthe deadly Chardon High Schoolshooting and says media could photograph the teen's face during a possible hearing next week.
Judge Timothy Grendell released records Wednesday regarding an assault charge and traffic citation against T.J. Lane. Grendell wouldn't say if there are other files that might be covered by a law allowing certain records to be withheld.
The teen is accused of taking a pistol to Chardon High and firing 10 shots at a group of students sitting at a cafeteria table on Monday. Three students died, and two were seriously hurt.
Grendell had barred media from photographing the faces of Lane and his relatives Tuesday. Several media outlets, including The Associated Press, challenged the order.
