AKRON -- Shortly after the verdict was announced in the Jimmy Dimora case, his defense attorney whisked by a sea of reporters outside of the federal courthouse.
Without making any comments, Bill Whitaker made his way through the crowd and stepped inside a vehicle that was waiting for him on South Main Street.
Dimora's wife, who also got inside that vehicle, didn't make any comments to the media either.
The vehicle then drove away.
Left behind was Dimora, who was taken into custody aftera jury determined he wasguilty on 33 of 34 counts against him.
No sentencing date has been set.
