Memorial Day Weekend is upon us andthere's loads of parades and ceremonies to help you celebrate the holiday.

Below is a small sampling of what Northeast Ohio has to offer this holiday weekend.

Friday-Monday:

Berea: 14th annual National Rib Cook-Off.

Chagrin Falls: Blossom Time Festival.

Cleveland:Marc's Great American Rib Cook-Off & Music Festival.

Friday:

Akron:Lock 3 Live kicks off its 2012 season of free live music starting at 7 p.m. with the JiMiller Band. Hollywood Nights -- The Bob Seger Experience -- starts at 8:30 p.m.

Cuyahoga Falls: The 2012 season forRockin' on the River kicks off at 5 p.m. with a pair of tribute bands including 7 Bridges: The Ultimate Eagles Experience and Jukebox Heroes. The event ends at midnight.

Sunday:

Mentor-on-the-Lake:Parade starts at 1:05 p.m.

Lodi: Community patriotic music celebration at Lodi United Methodist Church at 7 p.m.

Monday:

Bay Village:Parade departs Huntington Park at 8:45 a.m. Ceremonies begin at 9:45 a.m. at Cahoon Park.

Bedford:Parade begins at 10:15 a.m. at City Hall. Route: City Hall to Broadway Avenue to Bedford Cemetery.

Chagrin Falls: Parade beings at 10:00 a.m. at the Triangle.Route: Triangle to Evergreen Cemetery. C-130 flyover of the parade route by 910th Air Wing Air Force Reserve Command of Youngstown.

Cleveland:Lake View Cemetery celebrates Memorial Day starting at 10:30 a.m. with the traditional veteran's program on the lawn in front of the Garfield Monument, which includes the placing of wreaths from various veteran groups. The public is invited to bring a picnic lunch and lawn chairs to enjoy the service. A second service will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Garfield Monument to honor each person entombed or inurned at the cemetery within the last year.

Cleveland Heights: Theannual parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial in Cumberland Park (on Mayfield Road across from the Community Center. All veterans will be recognized and invited to introduce themselves.

Cuyahoga Falls: Their80th parade starts at 9 a.m. at Portage Trail and Lillis Drive. The city's bicentennial and the War of 1812 will be commemorated during the parade. A ceremony will follow the parade around 11 a.m. at the Oakwood Cemetery.

Green: TheMemorial Day Parade steps off at 10 a.m. from Green High School at 1474 Boettler Road. The parade route is Boettler Road east to Massillon Road south (right hand lanes only) to Steese Road west to the Green Intermediate School, 1737 Steese Road. A Memorial Day ceremony starts at 12 p.m. at the Green Veterans Memorial Park, 4224 Massillon Road.

North Canton:Parade will be held at 9 a.m. with a memorial program in Bitzer Park immediately following.

Strongsville:The Memorial Day Paradebegins at 11 a.m. at the St. Joseph & John School parking lot and will proceed south to Zverina Drive.A Memorial ceremony will take place at the Freedom Trail Gazebo from 11:30-11:45 a.m.

Tallmadge:The parade forms at Our Lady of Victory Church at 9:30 a.m., moving out onto North Avenue at 10 a.m. The route goes south to the Tallmadge Circle turning left onto the circle to Southwest Avenue to the new entrance of Tallmadge Cemetery to the speakers stage where services will be held.
