MEDINA COUNTY -- An extradition hearing has been scheduled for Friday morning for Nate Summerfield in the investigation into an Ashland mother's murder.

The hearing is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. in the Medina County Common Pleas Court. Judge James Kimbler will preside.

The attorney for Nathan Summerfield, Bob Campbell, has told the court his client intends to waive extradition.

If Summerfield does waive extradition, he would be returned to North Carolina to face charges in the death of Lynn Jackenheimer.

Jackenheimer disappeared while on vacation with Summerfield and her two children. Searchers found her body in mid-July in Frisco, North Carolina. She had been strangled and stabbed.

U.S. Marshals arrested Summerfield on Wednesday at a motel in Wadsworth.

Channel 3 News has obtained copies of thereturned search warrant in the arrest at the motel.

Investigators confiscated a cell phone, some clothes, $500 and a bank receipt for the money.

On the same day of his arrest, Ashland County court records show Summerfield's home went into foreclosure.

He is currently being held in isolation in the Medina County Jail.
