CLEVELAND -- It was a dingy downtown park, with a reputation as being unsafe.

After a $3 million renovation, Perk Park is attracting large lunchtime crowds and on Wednesdays, live bands and food trucks attract even more visitors.

It opened in Februaryand most of the funding for it came from the City of Cleveland.
