BRUNSWICK -- Do you like zombies? Here's your chance to get paid for acting like one.

Mapleside Farms, an apple orchard in Brunswick, is seeking 40 people to portray the undead for their upcoming Halloween attraction in which guests shoot zombies with paintballs.

Those who are hired will scare guests and become paintball targets while wearing specially themed protective clothing.

Guests will shoot the paintballs at stationary targets and the live actors portraying zombies while riding along a 15-minute haunted hayride.

Greg Clement, owner of Mapleside Farms, says he realizes these are "unusual" jobs.

"We are looking for people who are eager to scare, who have fun in costume and don't mind dodging, or even getting hit with paintballs," Clement said in a press release.

The zombie paintball attraction will be open Friday and Saturday evenings from Sept. 14 through Nov. 3 from 5 p.m. until midnight. It will cost $15 per participant, per ride.

You can apply to be one of the zombies at a specialjobon Tuesday, Sept. 4 from 11 a.m.until 1 p.m. at Mapleside Farms (294 Pearl Road) in Brunswick.
