CANTON -- A teenage couplefacing felony charges in the death of their newborn son both were released to their families today after denying the chargesin Stark County Family Court Monday afternoon.

Charges were filed against a girl and a boy, both 17, from Alliance.

They appeared before Court Magistrate Sally Efremoff.

She is charged with involuntary manslaughter and endangering children whilehe faces charges of complicity to commit child endangering and with complicity to commit involuntary manslaughter.

He entered plea of "not true." He wasreleased to his parents on the condition that he attends an online school anddoesn't leave his home.

Both have a pre-trialhearing Friday at 9 a.m.

Proscutors saythe infant died after being born at their home July 8.

The baby isis said to have died as a result of inadequate care following its birth.

They could ultimately face charges as adults.
