Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Maalik Wayns, the rookie out of nearby Villanova, and Nick Young each scored 19 points and drained five of Philadelphia's 12 three-pointers, as the Sixers cruised past Cleveland, 113-99.
Dorell Wright recorded 17 points and Evan Turner added eight points, six rebounds and four assists. Thaddeus Young posted 11 points and six rebounds and Lavoy Allen filled the stat sheet with eight points and 11 boards for the Sixers, who made 50 percent of their shots in a sharp-shooting exhibition.
Philadelphia made six three-pointers in each half and used their outside shooting to push a one-point lead to 25 at halftime behind a 38-14 shooting onslaught in the second period.
Kyrie Irving showcased his immense skill to the tune of 23 points and Daniel Gibson added 18. Tristan Thompson chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
Cleveland dropped a double-digit decision despite putting five players in double figures. C.J. Miles and Anderson Varejao also scored 10 points apiece.
