Husted says in a statement that voting has gone smoothly in Ohio and he expects absentee voting this year to surpass 2008.

Ohio boards of election are open for early voting Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
