MAPLE HEIGHTS -- Police say they have a suspect in the 2:30 a.m. Sunday shooting of Marion Alexander, 26, of Cleveland.

Alexander was shot multiple times and was taken to Marymount Hospital where he died.

Alexander was at a party on Rochelle Drive where a fight broke out and shots were fired. He was bleeding and found lying on the ground.

As a result of the initial investigation, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Kelvin A. Mathis Jr., 27, of Glenwillow, charging him with murder.

An attempt was made to take him into custody at his home but he was not there.
