The Ohio High School Football Coaches Association recently recognized individual student-athletes and entire teams from across the state for excelling in the classroom.

The OHSFCA recently named 99 senior football players who earned first-team all-league, county or district honors and maintained a "highly competitive GPA" this fall as Academic All-Ohio honorees.

The OHSFCA also recently recognized 73 gridiron teams across the state as Academic All-Ohio squads. To be considered for the honor, teams were asked to submit the names of 22 varsity letterwinners and their respective GPAs from the first quarter of the 2012-13 school year. The teams listed below are ranked in order of overall GPA. The first six squads received the highest recognition and were awarded a plaque to commemorate the accomplishment.
