WILLOUGHBY -- And he didn't even leave the light on for them.

Just before 4 a.m. Sunday, police arrested a man, 36, in a room at the Motel 6 on three outstanding Willoughby police warrants for failing to appearin court to answer toattempted theft and impersonating a police officer charges.

He was also charged with possession of heroin.

He had his2-year-old son with him at the time so the boy was removed from the room andthe child's mother responded to the scene to pick him up.

The manis being held for additional felony warrants out of the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department andmisdemeanor warrants out of the Mentor Police Department.
