New Haven, CT (Sports Network) - Kenny Boynton knocked down eight 3-pointers en route to 28 points and the Florida Gators closed out a three-game road trip with a 79-58 decision over Yale.
Boynton connected on 8-of-10 from long distance for the Gators (10-2), who also received 14 points and nine rebounds from Will Yeguete. Florida shot an incredible 60 percent for the game in collecting its second straight win.
Mike Rosario chipped in with 13 points, three rebounds and three steals in the victory.
Justin Sears tallied 15 points and four steals, while Javier Duren and Armani Cotton followed with 14 and 12 points, respectively, in the setback for Yale (5-11), which has not won back-to-back games all season. They were coming off a victory over Holy Cross on Friday.
