SOUTH EUCLID -- Police are asking the public for help in locating a driver who struck a pedestrian and left the scene.

The pedestrian was struck by avehicle at the intersection of Mayfield and Warrensville Center roads about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday night.

The person who was struck was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center with serious injuries and is listed in critical condition.

Police are looking for a newer, blue pickup truck with a possible red stripe on the side and a white plow on the front.

The truck probably has damage to the right front side and perhaps damage to the right plow light or fog light and may be missing some plastic pieces from the front.
