COLUMBUS -- Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine will announce Wednesday new effortsto provide services for sexual assault victims.

The new initiative comes after a survey conducted by the Attorney General's Office, which began in May 2012,found that 52 of Ohio's counties do not offer comprehensive, direct services for sexual assault victims.

The news conference will also address proposed legislation to create a rape crisis program trust fund.

This comes on the heels of Sunday's verdict in the rape trial of two Steubenville High School football players -- 16 and 17 -- where they were found delinquent -- the juvenile court equivalent of guilty.

The victim, a 16-year-old girl from Weirton, West. Va., then received threats over social media and two girls were arrested Monday for making those threats.
