As the fields around Northeast Ohio start to thaw out from the area's latest winter freeze, the first signs of spring are starting to appear.

For baseball fans, the official start of spring is Opening Day.

The Ohio high school baseball season is set to begin on Saturday and at this time of year, all teams remain hopeful that their respective campaigns won't conclude until June 8. That is the date the four state championship games are slated to be played at Huntington Park in Columbus.

As a tip of the cap to the start of the season, would like to highlight 10 players to watch in Northeast Ohio. We're excited to unveil our American Family Insurance All-Northeast Ohio Baseball Team.

The 10 student-athletes listed below were selected by staff members as players to watch in Northeast Ohio during the 2013 season.
