AKRON -- Police have issued an advisory asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for a crime that took place nearly one year ago.

Police say Shawn Anthony Johnson, with a last-known address on Wall Street in Akron, is wanted for aggravated robbery and felonious assault from an incident on March 29, 2012.

Johnson is accused of shooting a man after hewas allegedly involved inrobbing the victim of $1,000 in cashin the 900 block of Wall street.

The victim was taken to Akron City Hospital where his injuries were not life-threatening.

As authorities continuing searching for Johnson, a reward is now being offered by the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force for information directly related to his arrest.

Johnson (pictured above)is 26 years old, 6' tall and 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
