CLEVELAND -- The county executive says the county will file a stay of order review of the decision to close the Cuyahoga County Airport Towerin Richmond Heights with a court of appeals Thursday.
Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald announced Wednesday morning
The FAA has included that tower in the list of towers closing because of sequestration budget cuts. The towers could close anytime between April 7 and May 5.
FitzGerald cited the fact that the FAA did not conduct appropriate safety reviews, measure an environmental impact or maintain a commitment to keeping the control tower open.
