CLEVELAND -- In a press conference Thursday afternoon, Cleveland police say the recent two murders and the attempted kidnapping on Cleveland's east side are not related.

They said each case is being treated as a separate incident, despite the fact that the incidents happened in close succession in a three-mile radius in the Fourth District.

Police Chief MichaelMcGrath said two men are being questioned regardingthe attack onRaven Freeman, 20, on March 30 on East 116th Street near Harvey Avenue while she was waiting for the bus.

Policealready arrested but have not charged Jerome Ogletree in connection with the death of Jazmine Trotter, 20,found march 24 behind an abandoned house on East 93rd Street.

McGrath said noarrest has been made in the death ofChristine Malone, 45, found in a field near East 93rd Street on Bessemer Avenuejust days after Trotter was discovered.
