BAINBRIDGE -- A Bainbridge family escaped their home as it became engulfed in flames early Friday morning.

The fire was reported around 2:30 a.m. on Elyria Street.

Everyone who was in the home reportedly escaped.

Crews reported seeing heavy smoke and flames coming from the house.

No serious injuries were reported.

Fire officials say it was an electrical fire that started in the attic, toward the back of the home.

Russell Township and Chagrin Falls fire departments also responded.
