PARMA - A three month investigation led police to a big haul of synthetic drugs.

Police revealed today the drugs confiscated during the raids which took place on March 21.

Parma and Westlake officers with the help of the Westshore Enforcement Bureau conducted search warrants at locations in Westlake and North Olmsted.

The investigation targeted trafficking in synthetic marijuana known as Spice or K2 as well as the synthetic drug known as "bath salts."

During the raids, police confiscated more than 61,000 containers of Spice and a lesser amount of the bath salts. The combined street value is estimated at $900,000. Police also seized more than $430,000 in cash.

Charges have not yet been filed in the case.
