CLEVELAND -- A local organization is using Mother's Day to help empower women who need to heal.

Goddesses Blessing Goddesses sponsored its fourth Mother's Day of Awareness.

The nonprofit group held its vigil at the Imperial Avenue memorial site, where 11 women were found murdered at the home of Anthony Sowell.

"We empower women. We do yoga, we do a lot of retreats, we do a lot of getting back out to knowing who you are and getting back to you, and being secure in yourself," said Jill Failing from Goddesses Blessing Goddesses.

The group also paid tribute to Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesusand Michelle Knight. They planted lillies to represent a fresh start.
