Missouri City, TX - When a pregnant teacher in Texas collapsed her coworkers rushed to help.

Erica Nigrelli technically died, gave birth, and then was brought back to life.

Three-month-old Baby Elayna now weighs a whopping nine pounds. She's growing and thriving and could be off oxygen soon.

Erica was 36 weeks pregnant when she collapsed. Her heart had stopped.

Some co-workers started CPR and used a defibrillator to get her heart beating again.

They kept her alive until paramedics came to rush her to the hospital. Baby Elayna was delivered by an emergency C-section.

Doctors later discovered that Erica had an undetected heart defect.

She now has a pacemaker to assist her heart. Erica's co-workers were honored for their heroics efforts to keep a mother and baby alive.
