AKRON -- Police say two men have been arrested and charged in the murders of four people found in a townhouse last month in Akron.

Police say the two Akron men, Derrick Brantley and Deshanon Haywood, both 21, are charged with four counts each of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery.

The charges are filed in the deaths of Ronald Roberts, 24, Kem Delaney, 23, Maria Nash, 19, and Kiana Welch, 19.

Their bodies were found in the basement of a home on Kimlyn Circle on April 18. Police say all of the the victims were shot multiple times and each at least once in the head.

Police have not released any details on what may have led to the shootings.

Brantley and Haywood are also each charged with obstruction for making false statements to investigators. Haywood was charged with obstruction on April 27 and placed in the Summit County Jail where he remains behind bars. Brantley was charged with obstruction on April 29 and alsohas been jailed since that date.
