Real-time storm updates

10:20 p.m. - Another batch of storms over northern Indiana could move into the Cleveland area overnight.

9:50 p.m. - Heavier rain moves into Akron/Canton area and moves east. Some gusty winds also reported.

9:00 p.m. - More strong storms developing over Wayne, Medina, Ashland, and Holmes Counties moving toward the Akron and Canton area.

7:34 p.m. - Thunderstorms weaken a bit as they move in Lake and Geauga Counties.

7:02 p.m. - Strong wind gusts and heavy rain now in downtown Cleveland.

6:40p.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Cuyahoga County.

6:15 p.m - Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Erie County until 6:45 p.m.

6:12 p.m - Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Lorain, Medina and Ashland Counties until 7:00 p.m. Heavy rains and wind are being reported with these storms.

6:10 p.m. - Reports of a possible microburst near the Norwalk Reservoir. Four 18 inch diameter trees were uprooted. A half dozen additional trees were damaged with downed limbs. All damage described occurred within a 10 yard radius.

6:05 p.m. - Driver blown off road 4 miles north of New London in Huron County. Small branches fell on the car. Estimated winds were 60 m.p.h.

5:38 p.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Huron and Richland Counties until 6:15 p.m.

5:28 p.m. - Slow going traffic being reported through the Cleveland area with the afternoon showers and thunderstorms.

5:23 p.m. - Several large limbs down in Shauck in Morrow County by trained spotter.

5:19 p.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Crawford and Morrow until 6 p.m. Storms still heading toward the Mansfield area. Keep alert.

5:10 p.m - Thunderstorm winds gusted to 65 m.p.h. in La Rue in Marion County.

5:10 p.m. - Several large tree limbs reported down in Prospect in Marion County by a trained spotter.

5:05 p.m. - Heavy rain reported in downtown Cleveland as commuters head home.

4:54 p.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Wyandot and Marion Counties until 5:45 p.m. These strong storms will be moving toward Ashland and Richland Counties during the next hour.

4:30 p.m - Special Marine Warning issued from Vermilion to Ripley, New York, until 5:45 p.m. due to strong thunderstorms stretching from Lorain Harbor up to Mentor and Fairport Harbor.

4:15 p.m. - Thunderstorm warning for Huron County expires.

3:34 p.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Huron County until 4:15 p.m. for wind gusts to 60 mph and small hail.
