AKRON, Ohio -- An early morning verbal argument at a bar resulted in gunshots with two injured.
Akron police say it was around 2 a.m. when two people, ages 47 and 29, were found inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds to the right hip and right shoulder respectively.
Investigatorsdetermined the victims had been involved in an argument with the suspect inside a bar in the 500 block of Vernon Odom Blvd.
After leaving the bar, the suspect allegedly followed the victims to Thurston Street and South Hawkins Avenue where he pulled up to their vehicle and fired several shots.
Both victims were taken to Akron General Medical Center. Police say their injuries appear to be non life-threatening.
The suspect, who has not been identified, fled the scene on a motorcycle.
