CLEVELAND -- Northeast Ohio Carry hosted a firearm education and awareness walk in Downtown Cleveland Saturday.

Members of the group paraded the streets, handing out fliers and answering firearm questions while openly carrying their guns.

The group was founded in 2012 to inform the people of Northeast Ohio and preserve the right of the average citizen to carry a firearm.

The group attempts to take the fear and misconception out of gun ownership by openly discussing and educating the public.
