NEW YORK -- If things go well, the Velvet Teddy Bear will be a lot smaller.
People.com says Ruben Studdard -- season two champ of "American Idol" -- will be on the next season of "The Biggest Loser."
He's lost weight before.
One time he dropped 70 pounds, but he started gaining it back after he got divorced last year.
He says his family has a history of high blood pressure, diabetes and heart problems. He says if he doesn't "fix things now," he'll be in trouble.
The new season of "The Biggest Loser" debuts this fall on NBC.
Studdard won "American Idol" season two in May 2003 after beating out Clay Aiken.
