Many people may have noticed how wet it has been as of late across Northeast Ohio. It turns out, all of Northeast Ohio received above average rainfall during June 2013.
The Cleveland Hopkins International Airport received 7.90 inches of rainfall, more than 4 inches above average. The Akron-Canton Regional Airport received 5.91 inches of rainfall, more than 2 inches above average. The New Philadelphia regional airport recorded 7.56 inches of rainfall, close to 4 inches above average. The Mansfield Lahm Region Airport recorded 6.99 inches of rainfall, more than 2 inches above average.
Due to the very wet conditions, some areas like Cleveland recorded lower than average high temperatures for the month.
The average high temperature for the month of June was 77 degrees for Cleveland, less than the usual average June high temperature of 80.8 degrees Fahrenheit. For Mansfield, the average high temperature was 77.9 degrees, lower than its usually average of 78.1 degrees Fahrenheit.
The average high temperature for the Akron-Canton area was 78.6 degrees, above the usually June average of 78.0 degrees Fahrenheit.
