SOUTH EUCLID --Notre Dame College will give away a $40,000 scholarship during The FEST 2013, a free family Christian festival, noon to 10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, in Wickliffe.

The College's Second Annual FEST Scholarship Award -- valid for a full-time undergraduate who is granted admission and enrolls beginning in 2014, 2015 or 2016 -- is worth $10,000 a year, renewable for up to four years.

Notre Dame is a sponsor ofThe FEST and will have a tent next to the main stage during the event.

To enter for a chance to win the Notre Dame College FEST Scholarship, prospective students can visitNotreDameCollege.edu/admissions/the-fest/Inquiry and fill out the contact form.

The winner will be announced on stage at The FEST on Aug. 4.

Hosted by the Diocese of Cleveland on the grounds of the Center for Pastoral Leadership at 28700 Euclid Avenue. in Wickliffe, The FEST attracts more than 35,000 people every year.

It features live Christian bands, games and giveaways, BMX shows, children's activities, local vendors, festival foods and opportunities for prayer.

The day ends with an outdoor Mass shared by thousands at 8 p.m., followed by fireworks at 10 p.m.

The Notre Dame College FEST Scholarship has no cash value and is not eligible to be used with other forms of institutional aid.

To redeem the value of the scholarship, the bearer of the financial aid award letter must present it to the dean of enrollment upon applying to Notre Dame.
