CLEVELAND -- Michael J. Fox made a return to television Thursday night with a new show on NBC.

The comedy touches on his life with Parkinson's. The show has struck a chord with many families here in Northeast Ohio.

The Cleveland Clinic hosted a premiere party for the show to give families an opportunity to bond, share experiences and watch the show together.

In the show, Fox plays a former New York television anchor who put his life on hold after being diagnosed with Parkinson's but has now decided to return to work.

The Michael J. Fox show airs Thursday nights at 9:30 right here on Channel 3.
