LORAIN -- Green light. Red light. No light?

Drivers in Lorain no longer have to deal with as many traffic lights because the city is removing them by the dozens and replacing them with stop signs.

It's all the buzz at the Hat's Off barbershop.

And along busy Broadway Avenue.

A study shows that more than half of Lorain's 100 traffic lights are no longer needed.

The city's steady drop in population means fewer cars on the road are being stopped or slowed by the flow of traffic -- especially along Broadway Avenue.

But some don't like the changes because Broadway Avenue is a busy roadway.
