YOUNGSTOWN -- Officials are trying to find a place for more than 100 snakes that were found in a Northeast Ohio home.
Police raided a home in Youngstown on Friday where an internet snake store was being apparently run out of the house.
Two people have been charged with violating exotic animal laws and child endangering. A 12-year-old boy was living in the house with the snakes.
The venomous snakes have been taken to a sanctuary in Kentucky. A rescue group is trying to find homes for the non-venomous snakes.
Police found the snakes after one of the men sought medical treatment after being bitten by a rattlesnake. He left without proper treatment and police went to check on him.
Rescuers say every room in the house, except the kitchen and bathroom housed snakes. They say the child's room had 30 snakes in it.
