STRONGSVILLE -- Strongsville City Schools' teachers will continue to strike Monday as they were not able to reach an agreement with the school board on Sunday.

A meeting was held at 1 p.m. where both sides hoped a deal would be reached.

However, the school board has not made any changes to its last offer which is the same offer that initiated the strike, according to Strongsville Education Association President Tracy Linscott.

Monday will mark day 15 of the teachers' strike.
