CLEVELAND -- Accused kidnapper and convicted sex offender Elias Acevedo faced a judge this morning, for a pre-trial hearing.
No trial date was set. Another pre-trial has been scheduled for November 18 at which time the judge may set the trial date.
Acevedo faces 293 counts, including aggravated murder, rape and kidnapping.
The 49-year-old is accused in the 1995 murder of Christina Adkins.
He is also suspected in the 1994 murder of his neighbor, Pamela Pemberton.
Acevedo, who pleaded not guilty last week, is being held on $5 million bond.
