CLEVELAND -- A woman who told witnesses that she was "sick of her kids" and put a one-year-old toddler on the unheated oven is in Cleveland City Jail today.

Police arrested Lalier M. Dillon, 22, who lives in a duplex in the 3000 block of W. 61st Street, for domestic violence, endangering children, escape, and resisting arrest. The police report details that she told witnesses that she was "sick of her kids" and that she was going to duct tape them.

The report also states that, about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, she is alleged to have opened an unheated oven and placed the toddler on the oven door. A witness took the toddler off the door and put her on the floor.

Next Dillon is alleged to have picked the toddler up from the floor and tossed her into a trash can in the kitchen.

That's when one witness took the toddler out of the trash can and carried her over to a neighbor's house and called police, according to the report.

Police arrested Dillon and, according to the report, she slipped out of one of her handcuffs after police placed her in the cruiser and, when an officer opened the door, she allegedly kicked him and tried to escape.
