SOLON -- Police tell WKYC that at approximately 2:39 p.m. Friday, police learned that an unknown individual contacted the Walgreens in Twinsburg stating that a bomb would go off at Solon's Walgreens if they did not load $5,000 on a Green Dot Card.

Solon Police responded to Walgreens at 6270 SOM Center Road and advised management. The store was evacuated.

Officers shut down SOM Center and Bainbridge roads. The SEALE Bomb Squad and a drug-sniffing canine responded to Walgreens

The drug dog checked the interior and exterior of Walgreens and no suspicious packages or devices were located.

Police opened up the roadways and the building was deemed safe and re-opened at 4:04 p.m.
