The winter storm barreling through Northeast Ohio is stranding travelers. United Airlines had to cancel 60 percent of its flights, according to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

By mid-afternoon, most of the fights were "canceled" on the departure board.

Heather Busseri and her husband were trying to get back to Toronto. Their flight wasn't canceled yet, but the flight to Toronto before it was canceled.

"Makes me think we have two kids at home who are going to be pretty upset if we don't get home on time," says Busseri.

We found members of the military who would be a day late getting back to base and international travelers were on laptops scrambling to rebook flights.

Most flyers we spoke with were able to rebook a flight for Thursday evening or Friday morning.
