Rocky River- On Saturday, authorities were keeping a close watch on ice jams along the Chagrin and Rocky rivers.

With the deep freeze earlier this week followed by warming temperatures, flooding became a problem for several low laying areas.

"I'm a little nervous. We haven't had a flood since 2005," said Willoughby resident, David Bramley.

High water forced police to close several roads in Willoughby on Saturday, including Erie Road between Gilson and St. Clair. Lost Nation Road between Pelton Road and Apollo Parkway were closed as well.

Meanwhile, police in Rocky River say nearly a dozen homes had to be evacuated because of rising water.
