COVENTRY TOWNSHIP -- Chelsea Schobert, the daughter of a couple who was murdered in their New Franklin home last year, has been arrested without incident at her apartment.

She faces charges for trafficking crack cocaine. A van she had last been seen driving was also recovered.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office was searching for her after a resident in her apartment complex called after a bullet entered and exited their apartment.

Detectives determined the bullet came from Schobert's apartment. They obtained a search warrant and say they found crack cocaine, evidence of drug trafficking and a 9 mm handgun.

Schobert's parents were found brutally murdered in their New Franklin home in April. The murders came shortly after Chelsea Schobert was badly beaten.

Her ex-boyfriend, Shawn Ford Jr., has been charged in the murder of Schobert's parents and her beating.
